GFTE is a volunteer virtual forum, founded by Professor Dr. Munir Moosa, serving children, youth and women of disadvantaged communities. It promotes value education among school-going children too, and also encourages professionals to volunteer their time for helping others. GFTE arranged a certificate based webinar on Public Speaking Skills. It was conducted by World Leading Public Speaking Coach, Britta.
​
The best part of the workshop was the attendance of visually impaired teachers and youth parallel with others. 100% proceedings are provided as stipend to 20 visually impaired teachers who attended this webinar free of cost. It was possible due to the concept of socioecoethical model, pioneered by Dr. Munir Moosa. Earn with Respect and Dignity!
GFTE Social and Academic Counseling

GFTE provides confidential social and academic
counseling services to everyone. It prevents
individual's from mental stress and depression.
​
So far, GFTE has counseled 3490 marginalized
individuals' free of cost (2020). It has also
arranged more than 10 mental health workshops for
more than 1000 children and women of marginalized
communities to save them from violence and
radicalization.
​
These counseling is provided face-to-face as well
a online by our Volunteer Director, Dr. Munir
and other volunteers.

Volunteer Director of Global Forum for Teacher Educators, Munir Moosa distributed Membership cards to 15 volunteer teachers of street children school. GFTE will take free workshops for these dedicated teachers to groom their teaching skills (26/11/2016).

Education for All! Workshops for
Visually Impaired Teachers
Volunteer Director of Global Forum for Teacher Educators, Munir Moosa was invited to conduct a free session on Career Planning with visually impaired youth at BINAE Foundation. GFTE later distributed certificates to all participants with names in Braille. GFTE also donated a cheque worth 5000 PKR and arranged refreshment, gifts and goodies for all the participants. What a memorable day! GFTE will fund another session on personal grooming in the coming month. (26/10/2019).

One of our missions is to provide free teacher training to poor/disadvantaged communities.
Free First Aid Training session was conducted for visually impaired teachers and senior students by Munir Moosa and Zoya Bhamani. (22/10/2016). We also designed braille based first aid box and donated them. At the end, certificates were provided to all participants with their names written in Braille. Thanks Zoya Bhamani for your efforts.

Global Forum for Teacher Educators is not only empowering teachers of disadvantaged communities, but also providing free human rights and value education to underprivileged children. We recently conducted a session on 'Children Rights' for Street Children by our facilitator, Miss Salima Moosa (Children Rights Educator), Munir Moosa (V Director, GFTE and Human Rights Educator). Around 200 children participated. Miss Salima taught them about their rights and responsibilities using global teaching methodologies. Children also enjoyed drawing competition. Our little junior educators, Miss Azwa and Master Anfal also joined us and conducted a session on art and song. Thanks to Mariam Lari of Sugar Mistress for providing free cookies to all the kid! What a memorable event!

Free Workshop for Visually Impaired Youth and Teachers (January 2017)
GFTE aims at empowering youth and teachers of disadvantaged communities. In line with the mission, set by Munir Moosa, Volunteer Director of GFTE, a free workshop on "Learning how to Learn" was arranged for the visually impaired youth and teachers. The session was conducted by Professor Mateen and Munir Moosa <3. Certificates of participation were distributed at the end. (January 7, 2017)

Competition is announced! Last Date: 10 Feb 2017
Global Forum for Teacher Educator arranged a workshop in November 2016 for the youth and teachers on Right to Play. The session was conducted by Munir Moosa along with Salima Moosa. Students not only participated in dancing, music, art activity and meditation, but also explored their creativity along with teachers, who learnt strategies to engage students in such healthy activities on regular basis.
Free Workshop on Women Rights
Free Art Competition for Children who are battling with Cancer, March 2017
Global Forum for Teacher Educators recently organized a session on "Women Rights" for the women of one of the most disadvantaged areas of Karachi, Pakistan. Not only they were empowered about their rights, but also encouraged to continue their education (formal/non-formal/informal) for fighting poverty and extremism. They also shared domestic issues and were provided suggestions during the counseling session. Thanks Mr.Vinesh for your kind gesture. Thanks to all the young volunteers for understanding the mission of GFTE. Certificates were distributed among the volunteers by Munir Moosa. (29/1/2017)
Global Forum for Teacher Educators organized Art Competition among children who are battling
with cancer. A good number of children
\participated. All the participants received
certificates and art kit, whereas, the first
position holder received medal, special certificate
and cash prize, and second as well as third
position holder received special certificate and
cash prizes. Two special cash prizes were
also distributed. These cash prizes were
sponsored through the support of the institutions,
participated in International Art/Drawing/
Poster competition, 2017. We are thankful to
the Director of Little Warriors, Miss Samina Tariq
and her team for donating lovely art kit for all the participants.
