Awareness Session on Mensuration Education

GFTE recently arranged mensuration education session for young girls of marginalized community. We also distributed gifts, sanitary pads and certificates to all the participants. Thanks to our socioecoethical model, that has helped making this event a huge success (November 2020)

Art Therapy for Children Battling Cancer

As a human rights initiative, GFTE recently arranged art competition and a game show for children battling cancer to support their mental health. Gifts were distributed to around 100 children. Art and game therapy has helped easing their pain. GFTE is thankful to all those who attended low cost training under socioecoethical model pioneered by Dr Munir. It would not have been possible to arrange gifts without low cost webinar participants contribution (September 2020)

Mental Health Counseling and Awareness Session for Visually Impaired Youth

Global Forum for Teacher Educators was founded by Dr Munir, with a few purposes in mind! One of its aim is to promote human rights education among children and women of marginalized communities.

GFTE recently organized free mental health counseling and awareness session among visually-impaired (blind) youth (November 2020). Around 100 students participated. They shared lived experiences with us. This session unveiled a few concealed realities like isolation and depression.

The session was conducted by one visually impaired trainer (GFTE hired and paid the trainer under our socioecoethical model) along with Dr Munir (Volunteer services).

What made this session unique was self- empowerment!

We also gifted hand-made necklace to all girls. Wait.... necklace? Yes! We asked one of the visually-impaired girl to make necklace, and we paid her to save money for future education. Then, we gifted the same to all! Munir's socioecoethical model is a win-win model!

If you ever wish to send gifts or anything for these lovely kids, please inbox! Come forward!

Art therapy for Senior Citizens and Mentally Challenged People

GFTE believes in promoting positive values among marginalized communities. We recently arranged art therapy session and coloring competition for those old age parents, who are thrown out of house by their own children. They now live in one of the shelter homes. A few of them have lost their memories due to unbearable trauma.

This session was lead by Dr. Munir. Art therapy helped relieving pain and stress.

At the end, we gifted medals to the winners and gifts to all. Thanks to one of the GFTE members for donating coloring books and color pencils.

We recently organized art competition for school going children. As a token of love, we gifted few posters and cards to seniors.

Munir's socioecoethical model is a win-win model!
